Getting Started¶
This guide walks you through setting up Flowpane from scratch. By the end, you'll have your first site added, your first governance check complete, and a clear understanding of your site's health score.
Before you begin¶
You'll need:
- An email address for your Flowpane account
- At least one website URL you want to monitor
- The site must be publicly accessible (Flowpane fetches files over HTTPS)
Steps¶
-
Create your account — Sign up via magic link or email and password. Complete the onboarding wizard to set up your organisation and first workspace.
-
Onboarding walkthrough — A step-by-step guide through the six onboarding screens: your name, organisation, workspace, sites, team invitations, and plan selection.
-
Add your first site — Enter a URL, verify it's accessible, and confirm the auto-detected metadata (platform, audience, industry).
-
Understand your dashboard — Learn what the workspace dashboard shows: action items, activity feed, artifact status tiles, and quick actions.
-
Run your first check — Trigger governance checks and see results appear across all seven artifact workstations.
-
Read your governance score — Understand the 100-point scoring system, what the colours mean, and how to interpret the issues list.
What happens next¶
Once your first check is complete, you can:
- Dive into individual governance workstations to see detailed findings
- Add more sites individually or via batch import
- Invite team members to collaborate
- Set up the sitemap workstation for deeper URL analysis
